AMMO Block 6 Practice Test

The FZU-39 sensor is the correct choice for use on all cluster bombs (CBUs) as it is designed to function effectively at altitudes ranging from 300 to 3000 feet. This sensor plays a crucial role in ensuring that the cluster munitions are deployed accurately and effectively, utilizing its targeted operating range to adapt to various mission profiles.

The FZU-39 enhances the precision of cluster bomb delivery by allowing it to be released at a wider range of altitudes compared to other sensors. Its operational threshold ensures it can engage ground targets effectively from a suitable height, improving the overall effectiveness of the munitions.

This effectiveness and adaptability set it apart from other options, which may not provide the same operational range or are designed for different types of munitions or specific applications within the air-to-ground attack strategy.
